League Organization and Gneral Guidelines

There is no league entry fee. There us a refundable $25 fee to reserve a place on the schedule. That fee will be refunded after the first week of action and you play. Host teams assume all fees for that night's action. Visitors incur no expense.

There are no league officers or officials - only a league scheduler.

ASA insurance is available to all teams in the league. Contact ASA Commissione Dale Ferron for information about that program. It's pretty cheap for what you get.

All league nights are intended to be double-headers. The number of innings is to be determined by the coaches before the first game begins. If it's a cloudy night and available light is a question, perhaps two five-inning games would be best or one ten-inning game non-stop. It's up to the coaches.

All players should be from the same high school.

Host venues must provide a home plate umpire that is registered with the WIAA or with the ASA.

There are no standings kept, no championship awards, no scores reported - just play ball

Leagues use WIAA rules except for a few such as having the option to bat everyone who is at the game that night etc.

There will be nine weeks scheduled in the 18-Under Super Seniorss and eight weeks scheduled in the 16-Under Senior League for 2008. If a night gets rained out, it can be made up if both teams can agree on a date to do so. It is not a requirement to make up the games.
