League Organization and General Guideline

There is a $25 league entry fee. All teams are then registered with the North American Fastpitch Association. Host teams assume all fees for that night's action. Visitors incur no expense.

There are no league officers or officials - only a league scheduler.

All league nights are intended to be double-headers. The number of innings is to be determined by the coaches before the first game begins. If it's a cloudy night and available light is a question, perhaps two five-inning games would be best or one ten-inning game non-stop. It's up to the coaches.

All players should be from the same high school.

Host venues must provide a home plate umpire that is registered with the WIAA or with the ASA. One umpire can call the entire game from behind home plate.

There are no standings kept, no championship awards, no scores reported - just play ball

Leagues use WIAA rules except for a few such as having the option to bat everyone who is at the game that night etc.

There will be nine weeks scheduled in both leagues. If a night gets rained out, it can be made up if both teams can agree on a date to do so. It is not a requirement to make up the games. Rainouts must be handled between the contact people for each team. Do not call or e-mail to Bob in the case of bad weather. The host venue contact must contact the visitor contact person. Bob will not call other teams for you. Week #9 this year is an optional week as it is later than normal.
